If not now, then when?

He was not lost. That is the harder part to explain, and the part that matters most.

There was a job, and the job was fine. It paid, it was steady, and it asked very little of him that he could not already do. Somewhere inside that steadiness he had settled — into a life that worked, and a version of himself he had quietly stopped adding to.

The things he once said he would build were still on a list somewhere. He had not abandoned them. He had done something slower and more permanent than abandoning them: he had begun to describe them as things he would get to.

The question arrived as an accusation. Not encouragement, not a slogan — an accusation, in his own voice, at the end of another year in which none of it had moved. There is no comfortable answer to it. That is the entire function of it.

INNTW did not invent this question and has never claimed to.

Some version of it has been asked for as long as people have been putting things off — in speeches and in kitchens, in the margins of notebooks, at three in the morning by people who could not say it out loud yet. It belongs to no single text, tradition or person, and it never has. Anyone who needs it already has it.

What was new was never the question. It was answering it.

INNTW exists because Theshantha De Silva answered the question instead of continuing to consider it. That is the whole premise, and it is not a marketing device — the company is the receipt.

What is ours is narrow, specific and entirely modern: five letters where a sentence used to be; a hand-drawn mark in which eleven letterforms carry the whole question twice over; cobalt; the garments; the way the story gets told; and a founder still working through the version of himself he spent years postponing.
